 I want to comment on more than the exceptional customer service, which is, above and beyond. Any question I have had has been answered not only immediately but usually if not always by Marlene herself. Her identity is obvious on every piece of her equipment, which is what I want to talk about.
If you have a grooming business, a vet office, a boarding facility or just a dog or more that you want to groom yourself, a Clipper Vac® is the one or two pieces of equipment that you will be overjoyed to own.
I am starting my own grooming business and I am dollar conscience, so I thought a lot about a Clipper Vac®, I bought the Mini® for the duo Clipper/Dryer system. This system is all and more than it claims to be.
Every aspect saves me time, which as we all know in a service industry, is money, and allows me to not only do a better job, but to make it easier on the pet by cutting down on things like time, drying, clipping and cleaning but also the dry vac and rake vac systems are amazing! I had one client lined up the minute she heard about the clipper rake system saying that her previous groomer said that it took 10 hours to rake out her Malamute. I just did a matted Samoyed that bites in about 4 from start to finish. After giving in to the Clipper Vac® realizing that it didn't hurt her, she actually let me put her on her side to clip her belly with nothing but a skip tooth 7 and the remarkable Clipper Vac®. I didn't even realize how much hair was coming off because I was too busy with MY job which included soothing her, until I opened the Clipper Vac® to remove the hair. I knew I had already filled a small garbage can with mats.
I cannot stress enough what a worthwhile investment this is. I went to a grooming school in Ohio that advertised the use of this system but only showed us the rake attachment, and I bought my Clipper Vac® on that experience alone. Imagine my delight with the outstanding blow dry and clipper systems.
I WILL NEVER GO WITHOUT THE CLIPPER VAC® IN MY BUSINESS. It would
make the work way to hard and every dog so much longer to finish.
I am not a paid spokesperson LOL, I just can't say enough positive about the Clipper Vac® and what it has done to make my business a Top-of-The-Line one, and to fulfill my mission statement which in a nut shell is, "For the love of the dog." Thank you!

Just a note to tell you what a great group of people you have at your organization. My wife Rhonda has done business with your company for years. As a sub contactor grooming at Woofs in Morgantown, WV she has had to provide a lot of her own equipment to get the results and speed she needs. She had a problem with a dryer that she had bought from your company about 5 years ago. She was upset that she had to use a smaller dryer and it was hurting her on how many animals she could do per day. I contacted your technical support, explained the problem and within minutes the parts to fix it were being shipped. I received the parts in two days and with the great instructions attached I had the dryer fixed in 30 minutes. I have a part-time house call business and last Saturday groomed three dogs and two cats very quickly with fantastic results! The extra time it took me to “tote” this new piece of equipment into the clients homes was more than compensated for in the quickness that I was able to do these pet trims on a Bichon, Poodle and Poodle-Pom Mix. Their Moms all like short haircuts and I was forever fighting the scissors on these little dogs… The poodle weighs about 4lbs! A few swipes with a snap-on-comb up those legs got the job done in amazing time. And those tensie poodle feet were no trouble at all! Even the cats stood still for the belly trims. I took a couple of your seminars at Groom Expo this year and was so inspired I bought the Junior Dryer and the Tote Clipper Vac®. They both arrived last Thursday and I used them on Friday to groom an Old English Sheep Dog who was full of briars and greenies and some large hair mats. Before your seminars and the wonderful equipment I would have had to shave down this dog. What a test for the equipment! I put a slippery crème rinse on the dog after two baths and combed out all the greenies and briars. Then I was amazed how the dryer just blew away most of the mats and I was able to use a 1” Snap-On-Comb in reverse over the entire dog. His owner was elated and said “That’s the best this dog has looked in many years!” This was a new client and HE ASKED to reschedule! Thank you sooo much!

Recently I had to send my precious Clipper Vac® and Dryer to Indiana to be installed in my new van designed by Dina Perry. I knew I loved my Clipper Vac®, but didn’t realize how much I depend on it! The fur sticks on the dog and all over the bathtub—up my nose and all over the place. I choke and I cough violently and wheeze with asthma without my Clipper Vac. The blades don’t cut smoothly and #7F against the grain on a Springer Spaniel won’t work. The poodle feet are very hard to do and my performance suffers. It’s the first time I’ve ever had the chance to use the system in competition, I LOVED IT!! I took 2nd place in the Creative Class using your system, it gave me great confidence knowing I’d have enough time to finish my trim and still have extra time left to put my finishing touches on my dog. I also used it on my Std. Poodle and my Port. Water Dog, although we not place, we were in consideration with the P.W.D. If you have ANY question…from the maintenance of the machine to a specific “how-to” on grooming, call or email, and they will bend over backwards to make sure you get an answer. I have had an original M.D.C. Romani Clipper Vac® for many years now and I love it! I literally cannot groom without it anymore. The suction can be regulated, but I always use it on the highest suction and just adjust which blade I use. I especially like to use the snap on combs with it. Granted, the first few dogs I did when I first got it really didn’t look very good, but with a little practice, it’s wonderful!

Save your pennies and buy a Clipper Vac®! No kidding! No more hair in my nose, in EVERYTHING! I can wear contact lenses if I use my Clipper Vac®. I don’t get little hair splinters under my nails (I HATE when that happens!) when I use my Clipper Vac®. I don’t breath as much sneezy dandruff. I do house calls and lug that 40 lb. sucker in and out of eight to ten houses a day…along with a tack box and table, and it is STILL worth it!

I use the Clipper Vac® Mini® and I love it. When I opened my shop it was what I could afford. I do between 7 and 15 dogs and not all of them are clipped so I find that it is a good size for me. I used to use the larger model in the other shop. I find this one works just as well and I have more control over the suction power. It also has a hose attached to it and you can use it to blow out the dogs if there are some damp spots. Not as strong as a force air blower, but good enough. It is wonderful and I cannot imagine working without one now!

I have the M.D.C. Romani “Quite Force” dryer with variable speed, I love it! I can blow out the hairiest coats and dry them all the way on high speed then blow out an old Poodle on low. I can dry a Sheppard to go out the door in twenty minutes (if it’s good). I highly recommend it to anyone.

I am a huge fan of the Romani products. I bought a Clipper Vac® about six years ago, and have not had a single moment’s problem with it. I love that thing. It vastly improves the speed and quality of my work. I can do a toy or mini poodle foot in about a minute using my Clipper Vac®. And no sticky outies! If my Clipper Vac® died tomorrow I’d be finding a way to replace it. If I pick up the clipper for a second to do some small thing and “don’t bother” to turn on my Clipper Vac® I feel like the clipper is not even WORKING. I saw a grooming competition in Nashville last weekend and I kept thinking, “How do they DO that without a Clipper Vac®?” I have the Mini model, which also doubles as a dryer. If they had made the Tote when I bought mine, I would probably have gotten that… though the larger hair holding capacity of the Mini is nice. Their products are beautifully thought out, and the service is unbeatable. And no, I am not on commission. I just get excited when someone produces a truly excellent product. They make wonderful Snap-On-Combs that really stay on the blade, and you can do the neatest grooms with the Snap-Ons and a Clipper Vac®. I did a Bichon Mix yesterday who is 8 years old. His “Mom” told me he had NEVER looked better in his life. Easy peasy grooming with the Clipper Vac and combs. Got a bi-weekly customer for my efforts.

Marlene and Angie are full of tips and soooo professional! Marlene is a great role model for a young groomer like me. I saw slides of their school and facilities—Oh my gosh—that place is to die for! So clean and efficient. They got it goin’ on! I learned how to do a Roman head on a poodle (gorgeous and very modern style). I also got to use the Clipper Vac® for the first time! I bought a Clipper Vac® two years ago and love it. I used to have a problem with my nose getting irritated, migraines, and hair in my eyes etc., from the Cool Lube and flying hair. I don't have these problems anymore. It saves on clean up, coats look nicer and are done faster.

For those debating on whether or not to buy a Clipper Vac, I am willing to give you the same nudge Daryl someone gave me. This is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Every time I use it I get better and better at it–happily my people have all been willing guinea pigs! Empting the Vac compartment–(and this confession will seal the file on whether or not I’m certifiable) is such a fun thing to do. Pulling that compartment bundle of hair out is very gratifying but I also think of all the hair I’m not breathing any more. After 25 years I figure my lungs are carpeted. I did my first cat with it yesterday–a cranky Himalayan with a bad attitude. What a breeze! And she absolutely did not object to the noise. That was the acid test. Snip, snap I had it all over with a 7F and she looked great. I use it to rough in most of the dogs I do pre-bath. Just felt I got them cleaner with less drying time. But now I see myself bathing more dogs first. I suppose because the end result is so clean with the Clipper Vac just taking all the loose hair and dander away. So if you need a nudge here it is–GO FOR IT!

Along with the Clipper Vac® and the instructional video, you will be receiving one of the foremost support systems you can get in touch with. If you have ANY questions...from the maintenance of the machine to a specific "how-to" on grooming, call or email those guys, and they will bend over backwards to make sure you get an answer. When I was jumpy about replacing the brushes, their tech stayed on the phone with me while I was doing it! They are the greatest!

The first time I used the Clipper Vac® I thought I had died and gone to groomer heaven! It's really very easy to use. I like the fact that all you have is a little suction noise and not the full sound of a vacuum.

Anyone thinking about some new equipment for their shop this year--the Clipper Vac® is the best investment I ever made! I bought the Mini, it's a one person unit and it holds the hair of approximately 4-5 dogs. I just love it! The shop is always so much cleaner, less hair lying around and it gives such a nice finish to the dogs’ coat, and clean feet on poodles(it's great for that too). That has always been one of my worst things to do but the Clipper Vac® does such a good job and it is so much faster too. It costs a little over $1,000, a bargain as far as I'm concerned!
